Cagnes sur Mer is often referred to as the only “authentic” town left in this part of the Riviera, alive all year round - yet not overrun by tourists in the high season.
The beach is on the other side of the road and fishermen still land their daily catch directly on the beach. Cros de Cagnes is a former fishing village, now part of Cagnes sur Mer that also comprises the town centre with daily market and last but not least charming medieval Haut de Cagnes.
Along the seafront and in Haut de Cagnes you will find a wide variety of pleasant restaurants. Easy access – also by train and bus to all towns along the coast as well as busses to Vence, Grasse and St.Paul.
By car it usually takes 10-15 min to get to Nice or Antibes and 30 min to Cannes. There are mountains in the background, 10 golf courses within a range of 25 km., plenty of famous museums and sights.

How to get here by car!

From Lyon, Marseille.
Take exit 46 on motorway A8 “Bouche du Loup/Villeneuve-Loubet” (after Antibes). Follow "Bord de mer" (=beach road) towards Nice. Pass Hippodrome de la Côte d’Azur (Race-track). Aproximately 500m ahead you will see the hotel on the left hand side. Continue 1km past the hotel, stay in the right-hand lane and make a U-turn by the SHELL petrol station.
Look for the only white house with blue shutters on your right hand side, with the sun on the sign.
(do not take the “Cagnes sur Mer” exit from the motorway, as you will end up in the town center)
From Italy or Monaco on highway A8.
Take exit nr. 52 "St. Isidore" Then through the roundabout on RN 202 towards Nice for about 2 km. Going under the bridge take the second lane from the right towards Cagnes sur Mer.
After the big harbor in St:Laurent du Var you enter Cagnes sur Mer. Continue about 500m beyond the yellow church. The hotel is the only white building and it has bright blue shutters. Look for our sign with the logo on the right hand side.
From Nice.
Promenade des Anglais (Bord de mer) – i.e. the road along the beach, towards Cagnes sur Mer / Antibes / Cannes.
After the yellow church in Cagnes sur Mer you continue for 500m. Look for our sign with the logo on the right hand side.
From the airport
(also useful if you get lost)
Do not attempt to get here directly from terminal 2.
Go all the way to TERMINAL 1.
Turn left just at the beginning of the terminal building by the petrol station (just opposite the bus station). Enter the roundabout and take the first exit. You are now on the beach road. Follow the signs towards Antibes, Cannes and Cagnes sur Mer, BORD DE MER (beach road). - about 6 km. After the the yellow church in Cagnes sur Mer you continue for about 500m. Look for our sign with the logo on the right hand side.

The main building
All rooms are newly renovated with beautiful bathrooms.
Prices are per room – including breakfast:
€ 84 with balcony and panoramic sea view.
€ 74 with sea view. or
with a view of the mountains.
Extra bed for children € 20 incl. breakfast available in some rooms.
Baby cot or children below 3 ½ years € 10 incl. breakfast.
Only possible in main building.
The Annex
The annex contains two small apartments each suitable for a family with two children.
The apartment on the ground floor has a terrace, bedroom, bathroom and in connection with the kitchen there is a room with bunk beds for children.
Apartment for rent at € 578 per week (Saturday – Saturday).
An adjoining room can be added to the apartment in the ground floor, in which case you will have room for 4 adults and 2 children.
Price per week € 950 (Saturday – Saturday).
The apartment on the floor above has a bedroom with a large balcony and a view of the sea, a bathroom and a room with a bed settee and a balcony. This apartment has a very small “kitchenette”, suitable for cooking light meals only.
Price per week € 578 (Saturday – Saturday)
Prices for apartments include bed sheets and towels as well as cleaning upon departure (or once a week in case of longer stays).
Prices for apartments do not include breakfast.
In addition to these there are 3 double rooms each with a bathroom. € 64– € 74 per room including breakfast.
All prices are EXCLUDING local tax € 0.60 / day / person.
